Listening and SpeakingListening and speaking are closely related to each other because there is somebody present when we speak and listen to. Listeners always need to detect speakers' purpose and intent of messages while speakers should make sure the messages conveyed are clear enough for listeners. How in the world can we learn and teach listening and speaking skills in English effectively and efficiently? CALL will give us tips toward the learning and teaching.

1. "Select CALL materials that teach the sounds and accents that are relevant for your students."
2. "Choose CALL materials that explinitly teach speaking skills."
3. "Provide oppotunities for oral practice through interaction with the computer."
4. "Evaluate learners' performance and provide feedback."
5. "Help learners develop strategies for explicit online learning of oral language through the use of online reference tools."
Listening
1. "Select CALL materials that are appropriate for students to listen to."
